The concept of permanent make-up (cosmetic facial tattooing) has been in existence for hundreds of years. The most popular procedures being the eyeliner, eyelash enhancement and eyebrows. More recently, the procedure has become very popular in America and the Orient.  Permanent makeup is a great option for women who have difficulty applying and keeping on makeup. Other popular procedures include permanent eyebrows and microblading, as well as areola repigmentation following breast reconstructive surgery.

 There is a very little discomfort in most permanent cosmetic procedures.  This is due to the application of a topical anesthetic.  Before starting any procedure, you will know exactly what to expect. 

 Immediately following the procedure you will experience slight swelling and redness.  Both symptoms subside quickly.  You can resume normal activity right after the procedure.  The normal complete healing period can be as much as two weeks at which time the final results of the procedure will be realized.
